I worked at the Chatham County Courthouse for many years, most recently for a Superior Court Judge. That is where the idea came for me to become a licensed wedding officiant. The judges receive requests daily for simple wedding ceremonies and their busy court schedules often do not allow them the time to perform weddings.<\/em><\/p>\n

I love my new found vocation of providing simple and affordable weddings for couples. I feel it is a blessing to be a part of this joyous and special occasion \u2013 and it can be stress-free! I can provide brief wedding vows or you may choose your own. You can select the location or I can offer suggestions. Most I have done are in one of Savannah\u2019s beautiful downtown squares.<\/p>\n

I have performed many ceremonies for military couples as I feel it is an honor to assist those who serve our country. I offer discounts to those with active military i.d.\u2019s.<\/p>\n

All you need is the marriage license from the Probate Court on the 5th floor of the Chatham County Courthouse. No waiting period, witnesses or blood tests are needed.<\/p>\n
